Volkswagen Group Italia pursues its future mobility strategy by establishing a partnership in the field of training.
A prestigious name, Ca’ Foscari Venice University, and a topic fully in line with the Group’s commitment. On this basis, Volkswagen Group Italia will partner with the Center for Automotive and Mobility Innovation (CAMI) – a research network of excellence headed by Professor Francesco Zirpoli, within the Department of Management at the Venetian University – for training the automotive managers of the future.
Along with the idea of mobility, also the skills needed to face and address the daily business are changing. Accelerate the transformation means broadening horizons and creating new opportunities too. That’s why Volkswagen Group Italia decided to bring its concrete contribution in the field of training, as part of a vision that is not limited to the product, but rather covers every aspect of the transition towards the mobility of tomorrow.
Massimo Nordio, CEO of Volkswagen Group Italia, and Professor Francesco Zirpoli, CAMI Scientific Director, tell us how the idea for this partnership came up.
